Journal History

August 2023 – JOTTER was established as a scientific journal focusing on the professional development of teachers and educational research. Published by the Sahabat Literasi Edukasi dan Publikasi Foundation in Bandung, the journal aims to serve as a platform for academics, researchers, and education practitioners to share research findings and innovative ideas in the field of education.

October 2023 – JOTTER was officially registered with ISSN number 3025-4817, marking its formal recognition as a legitimate scientific journal accessible internationally. In the same month, it was also indexed in GARUDA (Garba Rujukan Digital), Indonesia’s national scientific reference portal, enhancing the visibility and accessibility of its published articles to the wider academic community.

January 2025 – JOTTER officially joined Crossref as a member, allowing the journal to assign DOIs to its published articles and improve their global visibility and citation tracking. In the same month, JOTTER also became a member of the Relawan Jurnal Indonesia (RJI), demonstrating its commitment to maintaining high standards in scholarly publishing and strengthening collaboration within the national journal management community.

May 2026 – JOTTER expanded and restructured its Editorial Board and Reviewer Board by appointing distinguished academics and researchers representing institutions across six continents. This strategic initiative marked a significant step toward the journal’s internationalization, strengthening global collaboration, enriching editorial expertise, and ensuring a rigorous and internationally recognized peer-review process.

July 2026 – JOTTER officially achieved SINTA 4 Accreditation (New Accreditation Rank 4) under the Decree of the Director General of Science and Technology, Number 355/DST/D.D1/HM.01.01/2026, announced on 28 July 2026. This achievement reflects the journal’s commitment to editorial excellence, rigorous peer-review standards, and the continuous improvement of scholarly publishing quality.
