About the Journal
AJOCS: Asian Journal of Communication Studies publishes original research articles and critical reviews in the fields of Communication Studies, Public Relations, and Da'wah. The journal accommodates empirical and theoretical contributions that examine communication processes, media practices, and socio-cultural dynamics, including digital media and communication, journalism, strategic communication, intercultural communication, political communication, and the role of communication in social change and development. AJOCS also encourages interdisciplinary approaches that connect communication with sociology, cultural studies, information technology, and public policy, and welcomes studies that explore the linkages between theory and practice, such as media systems analysis, communication technology, audience behavior, content production, and regulation. Furthermore, the journal opens up a space for discussion on contemporary issues such as digital transformation, misinformation, media ethics, and the impact of globalization, with the aim of becoming a scholarly platform for researchers, academics, and practitioners to exchange ideas, contribute to theory development, and support evidence-based practice in communication studies.
